Thank you for choosing Tanium. This document is intended to document changes between releases of Tanium Connect.

Enhancements

  • Connections now run in a separate process to ensure heavy data processing does not lock up the UI.
  • Max old space size setting can now be configured in the top rail.
  • UDP destinations are now significantly faster.
  • HTTP destinations now include the url details in connection run log.

Resolved Issues

  • Pre-run and post-run stored procedure fields on SQL Server destinations can now be removed.
  • SQL Server destinations can now only have a post-run stored procedure without requiring a pre-run stored procedure.
  • Files are no longer kept open when sending email and no results are generated.
  • Service Now non aggregated data now matches the format that C3 sent.
  • Connect3 connection importing has been fixed.
  • Connection Run Stats report raw row count for 'Rows In' and the flattened row count for 'Rows Out'

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • Authentication success and failure tracking is available with Tanium Server 6.6 or later at this time.
