Thank you for choosing Tanium. This document is intended to document changes between releases of Tanium Connect.

Enhancements

  • Reputation service: Added a grid view with filtering for malicious items in the reputation database.
  • Email and File connection destinations: Added option to select gzip or zip when compressing a file or email attachment.

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved time zone / date and time conversion problems with the reputation connection source. The issue was causing failures when retrieving reputation results.
  • Added function to reputation service that inserts only the supported hash types for a reputation provider.
  • Fixed throttling issues with reputation service.
  • Fixed issue with appending to a file in the connect file destination. This issue occurred only in connections with the Include Headers option enabled, and single row result for a connection run.
  • Fixed issue with getting Server Information when a Tanium Server server is running on a non-standard port.
  • Fixed issue with temporary files not being released for SMTP destinations.

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • Authentication success and failure tracking is available with Tanium Server 6.6 or later at this time.
