Tanium Cloud Release Date Starting On: June 4, 2026

Resolved Issues

  • Miscellaneous bug fixes and performance improvements.

Tanium Cloud Release Date Starting On: May 5, 2026

Improvements

  • Operational Technology satellite endpoints can now distinguish between a satellite configuration that is deleted by a user versus a satellite configuration that is disabled by a user.
  • Updated Operational Technology discovery schedules to support finer-grained interval and time window configuration.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where configuring a discovery schedule using a UTC-based time window returned the error: invalid argument : invalid window, no end type set.
  • Fixed an issue where the Operational Technology Overview Settings page could take up to 12 seconds to load due to an unoptimized content sets query. The page load time is now shorter.

Tanium Cloud Release Date Starting On: February 3, 2026

Updated On: February 17, 2026

Improvements

  • Operational Technology endpoint tools are now installed automatically using Endpoint Configuration.
  • Removed the explicit “Install OT...” and “Uninstall OT...” packages.
  • Updated Operational Technology satellite discovery intervals to allow for more specific interval definition.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where endpoints running Tanium Client 7.8.1 or earlier could mistakenly be configured as an Operational Technology satellite.

Known Issues

  • Endpoints that run a 32-bit Linux distribution or run Linux on ARM64 architecture cannot be configured as an OT satellite. Instead, select a satellite endpoint that runs a non-32-bit Linux distribution or Linux not on ARM64 architecture to configure as an OT satellite.

Tanium Cloud Release Date Starting On: November 20, 2025

Features

  • Introducing Tanium Endpoint Management for Operational Technology, which extends visibility of OT devices into Tanium. Tanium Endpoint Management for Operational Technology allows Tanium Client to discover, identify, and ingest OT devices into the Tanium environment to provide a single, unified platform for enhanced visibility and reporting across both IT and OT devices within the same environment. In addition, the following features are available:
    • Out-of-the-box reports in Reporting for OT devices.
    • Filtering for OT and IT endpoint data side-by-side.
    • Data exports through Connect and Gateway.
    • Data sync with ServiceNow.
