- Insight into container configuration and permissions

Important Notes
This release of Tanium Containers delivers new capabilities to support Tanium client deployments in on-premises and cloud container environments.
Included in this release is the Tanium Client Container. This package is required to provide container visibility. Additional deployments of the Tanium client to container hosts will increase visibility. Full details of the deployment capabilities can be found in the documentation at http://docs.tanium.com/containers/containers/index.html.
The Tanium Client Container appears as a Tanium Client and only responds to sensors in the Containers solution that is installed on the Tanium Server. This prevents the Tanium Server from treating the Tanium Client Container as a traditional endpoint. The Tanium Client Container does not run packages or receive endpoint tools installed by other Tanium solutions. When responding to sensors outside of the Containers solution, the Tanium Client Container always returns N/A on Tanium Client Container. You may need to adjust saved question, computer group, or filter group queries when adding the Containers solution to your deployment.
Upgrade/Installation Information
If the previously available Limited Availability Containers content has been installed in your environment, you must uninstall the content prior to installation of this solution. Any legacy Tanium Client Container containers and images should be removed as well. Contact Tanium support for assistance in installing or uninstalling the content.
