New Features
- N/A
Improvements
- Improves the performance of sensor execution in MacOS Tanium Clients by reducing the interactions with this platform's Gatekeeper runtime protection.
Bug Fixes
- Fixes a change in behavior in the Tanium Client through which it would append a "
TLS ###" suffix to the common name of its certificates, which appears to cause problems with some certificate scanners. - Changes the way in which the Tanium Client terminates sensor and action processes, ensuring that their whole process group receives a
SIGKILLafter the advisorySIGTERMsent to them, even if the initialSIGTERMappears to have been successful. - Whenever possible the Tanium Client will try to use the same
.shfile inode to execute shell sensors in MacOS, avoiding the invocation of the Gatekeeper runtime protection which slows down execution and will sometimes cause undesirable pop-ups to appear on screen during this protection check. - Improves the performance of the Tanium Server interactions with Microsoft SQL databases in Windows deployments during cache update queries.
