  • The Tanium Server now uses Console (Version 3.13.105.0000).
  • Tanium discourages new installations of this software version on Windows 2012 and 2012-R2 given its End-Of-Life on 2023-10-10.

Improvements

  • Updates platform components to use libexpat v2.7.0.
  • A new global setting clean_download_catalog_timeout_minutes with a default value of 1440 (one day) was added to control how long the download catalog cleaner job is allowed to run. This will help keeping the job running for a limited time and reducing its impact on normal operations.

Bug Fixes

  • Ensures that the global setting license_file_copy is created and updated with its hidden flag set on both Windows and TanOS deployments.
  • Fixes the behavior of the Tanium Server global settings API to treat console_manifestUrl as case-sensitive in order to match the behavior expected by the Tanium Console.
  • Fixes an issue in the Tanium Server API where a computer group which was once assigned to a ring set cannot be deleted unless the ring set is also deleted.
