download.txtlogs the number of failed CDN download attempts and the moment when it chooses to fallback to attempt a direct download instead. - Improves the Tanium Client handling of timers on some types of registration errors where a backoff was not initiated.
- Offers new logging messages regarding the Tanium Client's throttled download operations, seeking to offer improved clarity when troubleshooting download slowdowns or failures.
- The Tanium Client will now defer its recurrent reset cycle while a deployed action is still running, avoiding the shutdown of other subsystems only to wait for an action to complete its execution.
Bug Fixes
- Ensures that all filesystem API calls on Linux are made using 64-bit integer values.
- Fixes a failed assertion in the Tanium Client's handling of throttled download reconnections which could be seen in the error "
error: assertion 'm_bytesLeftToThrottle == 0'" in the client logs. - Fixes a problem in the Tanium Client where using the
ClientMinTLSVersionsetting to force v1.3 was not being honored as expected.
