Improvements
- Tanium Components and the Tanium Client will now apply a more comprehensive handling of log files on startup, removing all log files which have grown much larger (
>5x) than their configured allowed size, remove log files that are beyond the number of allowed log file counts, and roll over all other log files according to their allowed sizes and counts. - Updated the Tanium Client to immediately register with the Tanium Server if a client certificate is found to be expired.
- Improved logging around client certificate requests at
LogVerbosityLevel=41and above to offer better readability and help troubleshooting. - Updated the Tanium Client to increase the frequency of PKI certificate expiration checks.
Bug Fixes
- Fixes an issue where the TaniumClient is unable to pass arguments to python scripts via the command line.
- Fixes an issue where a long queue of sensors will block a Tanium Client shutdown.
- Fixes an issue where a client may refuse to connect to the Tanium Server if the TLS certificate expires while the endpoint is asleep.
- Tanium Client will no longer reset computer id after a Database epoch reset, reducing the instances of system status duplication.
