  • Tanium components now ships with OpenSSL v1.0.2ze.
  • Tanium component installer RPMs for RHEL platforms will now be gzip compressed.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a problem with the Tanium Client installer which would fail to work properly on RHEL v8 with FIPS mode enabled.
  • Fixed a problem in the Tanium Client where it would fail to register if it received instructions from to renew its PKI with duplicate server keys, indicated by the log message: Received multiple certificates for the same root key.
  • Fixed a condition in the Tanium Client which would cause it to stop operating when it cannot read the contents of its state databases due to a mismatch in the StateProtectedFlag setting.
  • Fixed an issue in the Tanium Client's handling of internal settings associated with StateProtectedFlag configurations, which would impact startup and operation.
  • Fixed an issue in the Tanium Client where log rotation might fail when running with high values of LogVerbosityLevel, resulting in unexpectedly large TC/Logs/log0.txt files.
