Thank you for choosing Tanium. This document is intended to document changes between releases of Tanium Browser Tools.
Tanium Browser Tools 1.3.0
Release Date: April 9, 2019
New Features:
- Operating System parity for Chrome and Firefox extension sensors.
- Added Extension State to Chrome and Firefox sensors allowing for the reporting if extensions are enabled or disabled.
- Moved all Browser Tools content to its own Content Set.
- Extension and History sensors will now return information for non-default browser profiles.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with the Browser History Domains sensor would fail if ran against an unsupported version of IE.
- Fixed an issue with the URL Exists sensor would return true if ran against a system with an unsupported version of IE.
Additional Information
- The Has Browser History Tools sensor has been deprecated in favor of BrowserTools - Tools Version.
- Saved Questions and Scheduled Actions have been updated to use the new BrowserTools - Tools Version sensor.
- Browser Tools now requires the deployment of Initial Content - Python
