Additional Information
- System User Service creates system users that might be visible in Tanium Console 3.0 and earlier. In Tanium Console 3.1 and later, the system users do not show up in the users list, however the users might appear in logs, through the platform API, and other instances in the Tanium Console. The system users are necessary for the product to function correctly. These user accounts do not have sign-in privileges for the console. As such, they do not have a password and have no implications on password rotation requirements. These users cannot conflict with any account created by administrators.
- The workaround contained in the 1.0.40.000 release notes for the Tanium All-in-One deployments with IPv6 enabled is no longer needed with this release.
