Fixes

Sensors

  • Fixed the SEP Client Protection Driver Versions sensor not reporting the correct ERASER driver version after 117.3.0.358.
  • Fixed the SEP Tanium Client Exceptions sensor returning False, depending on how the exception was configured, when it should have been True.

Enhancements

Sensors

  • Started refactoring sensor scripts to reduce code duplication and increase efficiency. This effort will continue over the next few releases.

Actions

  • Added action to delete Lue downloaded zip files on the SEP client as a troubleshooting step to resolve the client not updating protection content/definitions.

Prerequisites

Specifically for the Mac content of this solution, the following are required:

  1. Tanium Python for Endpoints solution needs to be imported and distributed to Mac endpoints.
  2. The Global Setting 'enable_python_jscript_type_flag' needs to be created and set to 1 (Server, Numeric).

Known Issues and Workarounds

Sensors

  • The SEP Client Virus Def Age sensor returns an incorrect value on Windows computers using the Buddhist calendar.
