Note
Tanium Managed Dashboards and Reports are now included in the Reporting Content solution. Reporting Content 1.0.11 or higher is a requirement of Reporting 1.9.
Enhancements
- Report and Explore Data results with Computer Name contain an Endpoint Details icon that shows basic information about the endpoint as well as linking to a more detailed Endpoint view. Endpoint Details and View are available for both online and offline endpoints.
- Dashboards now automatically refresh panel results every few minutes. Users can control the frequency of the refresh or disable it with the new control in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
- Dashboards and Reports can now be easily organized and categorized using labels. One or more labels can be assigned to a Dashboard or Report. Users can create new labels and remove existing Labels from Dashboards or Reports. When viewing the Dashboard or Report list pages, users can filter based on labels that have been assigned as well as see a count of how many Dashboards or Reports are assigned to a label.
- Historical Data Source collection can now be monitored in the Reporting Settings page. Previous collections and the current status of the source can be viewed. An immediate collection can also be requested to update the historical aggregate data.
Resolved Issues
- Fixed an issue where dashboard panel results items with blank results would show as (no label 0) or another integer. Blank results will now show as (no value).
- Fixed an issue where changing the Dashboard timeframe to “Last 7 days” would result in Number Charts incorrectly showing 0.
- Fixed an issue where it wasn’t possible to sort the Report or Dashboard List by “Last Modified By”.
- Fixed an issue where searching the Report List for Tanium Managed incorrectly returned no results.
- Fixed an issue where Explore Data would not automatically flatten results on the first sensor if a filter was applied before columns were selected.
- Fixed an issue in the Edit Panel modal where switching between chart types did not refresh the data, potentially resulting in an incorrect preview of the selected chart type.
- Fixed an issue where the count column was not included when exporting Reporting results through Connect.
- Miscellaneous bug fixes and performance improvements.
Role-based access control
Reports and Dashboards are assigned to content sets giving users flexibility over who can view and edit.
Users need to be Administrators, have a reporting role, or reporting permissions assigned to them in order to see and use Reporting, Dashboards, and Explore Data.
