Tanium Provision 1.6.87

  • Fixed an issue that caused bare metal deployments to computers with eMMC storage to fail.

Tanium Provision 1.6.60

  • Fixed issue that caused imaging process to fail when a domain join or admin account creation complete before installation of the Tanium client.
  • Fixed issue that prevented capture of OS image for Rocky Linux 9.
  • Fixed issue that caused the imaging process to fail when a network connection is not available while partitioning disks.
  • Fixed issue with the imaging interface that caused the UI to fail when trying to connect without having selected an adapter.
  • Fixed issue with Windows to Linux refresh that removes the need for entering a confirmation code.
  • Fixed issue with imaging Ubuntu machines.
  • Fixed issue that caused failed re-image when using the same machine name.

  • Increased installation timeouts to improve deployment stability.
  • Fixed permissions to allow Provision administrators the ability to create satellites.
  • Fixed issue that prevented users from deploying Provision without a bundle.
  • Fixed issue to translate notification log error messages.
  • Fixed issue that prevented display of Linux UI on a BIOS (non-UEFI) computer.
  • Fixed issue with clean up of temporary folder with autopilot on existing devices.
  • Fixed issue that prevented Tanium PXE Status sensor from working on German language OS.

Known Issues

  • Bootable media created with the -Bundle option hangs with "[ERR_INVALID_URL]: Invalid URL" log message for isolated endpoints if the OS bundle includes an ODJService or AdminPassword setting. To work around this issue, specify an OS bundle that does not include an ODJService or AdminPassword setting or establish network connectivity on the endpoint.
