New Features
- The API Gateway is a single and stable API integration point for the various Tanium solutions. It is designed for Tanium partners and customers interested in building integrated solutions with the Tanium Platform. If you are interested in using the API Gateway for your integration use case, contact Tanium support.
- The Reporting Service drives the data exploration and investigation experience of multiple Tanium modules. It is a flexible, rich interface designed to more easily surface endpoint data in a consistent manner across the products.
Additional Information
- This is the initial on-premises release of the Platform Services solution. This solution does not distribute tooling to endpoints.
- Module server host system security exclusions have been amended to include two new services: TaniumGatewayService.exe and TaniumReportingService.exe. Known Issues
- After installing Platform Services, the Solutions page may show a red exclamation point next to Platform Services; this does not affect functionality and Platform Services should be operating nominally. The latest release of Console issue fixed.
