Tanium Performance 1.3.2.0003

Release Date: April 14th, 2020

Feature Improvements

  • Removes dependency on "Initial Content - Hardware" solution.
  • Removes "Import Missing Sensors" configuration step from the Home page.
  • Removes Performance users’ access to the "Initial Content - Hardware" content set.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixes issues with the Performance Events and Direct Connect pages due to Tanium Server 7.4 removing the `Initial Content - Hardware` solution.

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • Removal of a profile from the UI will not remove the profile from the endpoint. The profile can be removed with the “Performance - Remove Profile” action. Editing a profile is preferred to removing a profile.

Feature Improvements

  • Tanium Performance now integrates with Tanium Trends to show Performance charts through the Trends initial gallery (Requires Tanium Trends 2.4 or later).

Resolved Issues

  • Fixes workbench error when opening direct connect’s endpoint details before there is data.
  • Fixes workbench error where event category buckets were being dropped from the all events chart.
  • Fixes issue where top processes consuming memory was calculated off of virtual memory instead of resident memory.

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • Removal of a profile from the UI will not remove the profile from the endpoint. The profile can be removed with the “Performance - Remove Profile” action. Editing a profile is preferred to removing a profile.

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • Removal of a profile from the UI will not remove the profile from the endpoint. The profile can be removed with the “Performance - Remove Profile” action. Editing a profile is preferred to removing a profile.
  • The aforementioned fix for disabled items in the profile configuration only will be fixed if each profile is edited and saved. This will create a new package for each profile containing the fix for the endpoint.
