New Features
- Patch list and block list rules for release date now support relative release dates “equal or newer than” and “equal or older than” up to 180 days.
Improvements
- Added a redesigned Create Deployment page.
- Superseded patches will no longer attempt to download or install if the superseding patch is included in the same deployment.
- Patch lists required for Tanium Managed reports are now also marked as Tanium Managed to prevent editing or deletion.
- Added a new Tanium Managed patch list targeting critical and important patches greater than 30 days old.
- Improved console performance in environments with a large number of patches.
Resolved Issues
- Fixed an issue with scan configurations using random scan delay and limiting scan windows causing resource contention in some virtual environments.
- Fixed an issue that caused the redesigned Create Deployments page to freeze 60 seconds after adding deployment targets.
- Fixed an issue that caused the redesigned Create Deployments page to remove the option to target Filter Groups.
- Fixed an issue that caused Tanium Scan for Windows product applicability scans to fail when the PowerShell product is enabled.
Known Issues
- Because of MDM requirements for patching that were introduced in macOS Monterey 12.1, Patch does not support installing patches on macOS Monterey 12.1 or later.
- Tanium Scan For Windows still has some known synchronization issues with certain WSUS environments.
- Deploying operating system patches that require reboot is currently unsupported on Apple Silicon (M1 chip) macOS devices.
