Security Update
This release includes security updates. Details of the issue, including affected versions, and mitigation information, can be obtained within Tanium's Support Portal, or by contacting your TAM.
Known Issues and Workarounds
- Patch 1.x must be removed prior to installing Patch 2.0. The Patch 2.0 import will automatically fail if Patch 1.x is installed. Please contact your Technical Account Manager for assistance
- Airgap environments using an offline cab file must upload the wsusscn2.cab and MS-CVEs.dat file to the 'Patch - External File References' package. Optionally, use WSUS scanning method.
- Windows XP and Windows XPx64 may require a Windows Update Agent upgrade for reliable scanning and patch deployment.
