Tanium Map 3.2.74.0000

Issues Addressed

  • Fixed issue in previous release where if a customer had an endpoint with Map but not Threat Response or Integrity Monitor, the Recorder wouldn't install. Now Map can be the only Recorder module.

Tanium Map 3.2.73.0000

Upgrade Notes

  • Installation or upgrade of Tanium Interact, Tanium Trends, and Tanium Client Management must be completed prior to installing Tanium Map 3.2 or any other module supporting the Endpoint Configuration management framework.

Improvements

  • This release includes a refreshed user experience, bringing more reporting, consistency, and configurability to the forefront.
  • A new endpoint configuration framework, replacing the actions and packages formerly used to configure endpoint tooling.
  • Zoom controls on maps
  • Improved support for IIS-based applications
  • Improved support for loopback connections
  • Map load performance improvements

Known Issues

  • If an endpoint is configured for Map, but not for Threat Response or Integrity Monitor, the Recorder may not be installed correctly. This issue will be resolved in an upcoming release.
  • Note with this release we are ending Tanium Administrative Console and Workbench support for Internet Explorer 11. For the best experience please use a recent version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari to access the Tanium Console.
