Resolved Issues
- Fixed an issue where charts could display error results while the data service was still collecting results.
- Fixed an issue where cached data was not being purged according to the specified Computer Group Max Endpoint Age.
- Fixed an issue where query cache entries were not expired causing excessive memory usage.
- Fixed an issue where the links in the Quick Links on the Tanium Home page could not be rearranged.
- Fixed an issue where Interact would fail to install or upgrade on Windows-based Module Servers where the language was set to German or French.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent a Troubleshooting Support Package from being generated.
- Fixed an issue where a sensor released by the data service was registered again.
Known Issues
- A memory leak exists in the cached data service that can result in unbounded Module Server memory usage, failed queries, and incomplete endpoint data collection. This memory leak is resolved in Interact 2.6 and later.

- Installation or upgrade of Tanium Interact, Tanium Trends, and Tanium Client Management should be completed, in that order, prior to installing any other module.
- Tanium Core Platform 7.3.314.4250 or later is required.
Resolved Issues
- Adjusted the restriction on maximum cpu cores used by the data service for module servers with less than 4 cpu cores.
- Fixed an issue where homepage quick links could not be reordered.
- Fixed an issue where filter group selection did not apply the filter and update the results.
- Fixed an issue where results might not load for a saved question when viewed by users with different computer group access.
- Fixed the issue that the question text wasn’t displayed on drill down.
Known Issues
- When viewing cached data, you cannot combine advanced filters with the filters applied to the questions for selected sensors.
- In some instances, when filtering on a sensor in a question with multiple sensors selected, the cached data excludes endpoints that do not match the sensor filter.
- Advanced filters on the Count column do not currently apply to cached data.
- The data service uses Computer Serial Number along with Computer ID and Computer Name to uniquely identify an endpoint. If Computer Serial Number fails to return a value, the endpoint and its results are not included in the cached results. This is an issue in some virtualized environments such as Proxmox and AWS. If you encounter this issue, contact your TAM to resolve it by choosing a different identifier or submitting an improvement for the Computer Serial Number sensor.
