Tanium Integrity Monitor 1.0.2.0012

Release Date: May 2, 2017

Feature Improvements

  • Updated import paths from file to support CSV.
  • Do not allow mix linux and windows paths, watchlists, and monitors.
    • Changing target OS for a monitor removes all watchlists with different target OS.
    • Changing target OS for a watchlist removes all paths for different OS.
    • Cannot add linux paths to windows watchlist and vice versa.
    • Cannot change target OS for watchlist that is attached to a monitor.

Resolved Issues

  • Updated linux recorder to 0.2.19.8.
    • Updated to handle auditd message with null paths correctly. Previously the null was causing the file path to be reported incorrectly.
    • Updated to scope excludes to correct paths instead of any path. Previously using the critical system and Tanium client templates together would cause nothing to record.
  • Updated loading the edit monitor page to avoid a timing issue which prevented configured computer groups from being selected.
  • Updated LCP config policy file import to support monitor-directory-changes and monitor-file-changes.

Security Update

This release includes security updates. Details of the issue, including affected versions, and mitigation information, can be obtained within Tanium's Support Portal, or by contacting your TAM.

Additional Information

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • Deleting a monitor using the all events connection with Tanium Connect v4.0.7, the remaining all events connection will not show the delete option in the workbench. Workaround is to delete the remaining all events connection using delete connection Tanium Connect API.
