Thank you for choosing Tanium. This document is intended to document the initial release of Tanium Integrity Monitor.

Tanium is proud to announce the General Availability of Tanium Integrity Monitor.

Key Features Include

  • Continuously monitor critical operating system, application, and log files.
    • With uninterrupted, real-time integrity monitoring, you are not limited by a set schedule.
    • Avoid the complexity of deploying several point tools and tuning them for individual endpoints.
    • Start monitoring faster with provided templates of critical files.
  • Integrate with other modules on the Tanium platform for compliance and security hygiene.
    • Go from alert to active investigation using Tanium Trace.
  • Scale integrity monitoring.
    • Deploy continuous monitoring for common or new attack vectors to any dynamic group of computers or across the enterprise. By leveraging Tanium Connect, integrate with existing change management and incident response systems.
      • Label events how you want and decide what events trigger through Tanium Connect
  • Script interactions with Tanium Integrity Monitor leveraging the REST API.


Additional Information

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • For Window endpoints only, Tanium Integrity Monitor events can be turned off if Tanium Trace file events are turned off.
  • Deleting a monitor using the all events connection with Tanium Connect v4.0.7, the remaining all events connection will not show the delete option in the workbench. Workaround is to delete the remaining all events connection using delete connection Tanium Connect API.

  • Tanium Platform 7.0.314.6319 and above
    • Label feature requires Tanium Common UI Components 1.0.0.620 and above. Please consult your Technical Account Manager for assistance.
