- Optimize planning, installing, and analyzing the potential impact for assets.
- Identify and quantify the user accounts that have administrative access to key systems, such as high-profile workstations or Active Directory domain controllers.
- Identify the user accounts and systems that would have the most significant impact if compromised.
- Determine the potential lateral movement of an attack and take action to prevent additional compromise.
Requirements
- An Impact LA release cannot be upgraded to an Impact GA release. A complete removal of all files in the impact-data-files directory is required. After installation, domain configurations must be reentered, and a sync ran to repopulate data.
- Minimum Tanium Server version 7.4.1.
- Minimum Tanium Interact version 2.2.
- Impact supports Windows endpoints.
Known Limitations
- Cross domain group memberships of domain local groups are not detected at this time.
