Tanium Engage 1.0.196

Release Date: May 23, 2023

This is the initial on premises release of the Tanium Engage module. Tanium Engage enables administrators to create surveys that collect qualitative feedback from endpoint users and deploy remediations to correct problems on endpoints. Documentation can be found here.

Features

  • Define survey trigger conditions and enable end users to run self-service remediation tasks.
  • Create survey questions that gauge employee sentiment.
  • Add survey questions to surveys that can be deployed to Windows endpoints.
  • Report on the status of employee participation in surveys.
  • Collect and report on the end user responses selected in survey questions.

Known Issues

  • Under certain conditions, the End-User Self Service interface might not open after the end user clicks Open Portal in the notification.
  • If the End-User Self Service interface is open at the time a new survey is received, new surveys are not listed in the End-User Self Service interface. To resolve this issue, restart the End-User Self Service interface.

Tool Versions

  • Tanium End User Client Extension 1.2.1034
  • Tanium Python Tools 3.1.43

Notes

Tanium End-User Notifications endpoint tools are required. These tools are deployed to endpoints separately from the Engage product. For more information see the End-User Notifications user documentation.
