• Fixes an issue in airgap environments where the Endpoint Configuration Toolset is not cached using the content_base_url which results in endpoints being unable to download or update tools and client extensions. Ensure the is_airgap and content_base_url platform settings are configured for your environment.
  • Set the is_airgap global setting on the Tanium Servers to 1.
  • Set the content_base_url global setting on the Tanium Servers to https://fqdn/content, where fqdn is the fully qualified domain name of the local airgap content repository.

Enhancements

• Updates Endpoint Configuration to include default targeting for content only solutions developed and newly installed on customer environments
• Adds the Upgrade Deferral Ring which allows customers to assign computer groups which will not receive any automatic client tooling or client upgrades. Upgrades can be done manually from the final, or All Computers, ring to the Upgrade Deferral Ring.
• Endpoint Configuration now supports Client Upgrades. With this release of Endpoint Configuration, the Tanium Client will be added to toolset manifests. Endpoint Configuration will create client upgrades in Client Management with the same targeting as the change management ring. This will only be valid on new toolset manifests that are imported into Endpoint Configuration.
• Adds support for the Semiannual release for on-premise customers.
