  • Added an option to change the icon and text for the Self-Service Client link and Self-Service window title bar.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue that caused the buttons in a notification window to become unresponsive if the notification window was moved by the end user.
  • Fixed the formatting of timestamps from EUN in the extensions.log to adhere to the expected format.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the EUN workbench to show in light mode even when dark mode is selected in Console 2.1.

  • Redesigned the interface for notifications on endpoints to include a modern look and feel.
    • Added the date/time of the deadline for the reboot or action to be enforced to the notification window.
    • Added the ability to include a support link (http(s)/email) to Self-Service profile and Notifications.

Improvements

  • Updated the "End-User Notifications - Has Tools" sensor to show that Mac endpoints are now supported.
  • Renamed End User Notifications Profiles to Configurations to reduce confusion with Self Service Profiles in Tanium Deploy

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue in End-User Notification RBAC roles that prevented the ability to read the underlying Trends charts.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented removing additional languages from an EUN Configuration.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed users to accidentally change the targeting of profiles/configurations that they should not have been able to modify.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the notification window to intermittently crash on macOS 10.15 (Catalina) endpoints.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented initialization from running properly after upgrade to newer versions of End User Notifications.

Known Issues

  • Previews in End User Notifications, Deploy, and Patch workbenches show the older design.
