  • Leveraging Nmap OS fingerprint scans to return return the OS Generation field, which allows users to identify the version of the Operating System.
  • Nmap can be configured to include and exclude specific ports for scanning.
  • Ping and Nmap properly scan the correct bounds of subnets smaller than /24.
  • Workbench: the OS Platform field is now an autocomplete field that shows you how many Assets are that particular OS.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where the Connected Assets and ARP saved questions ran repeatedly.
  • Improved timeout error handling in the Nmap scanner. Logs properly reflect a timeout condition.
  • Fixed Arp Assets and Open Ports sensors not working on systems without ifconfig and netstat respectively.
  • Fixed Not Empty filter not working properly with blank hostnames.
  • Fixed import progress not showing correct state during an import.
  • Fixed Select all checkbox issues when deselecting individual assets.
  • Fixed an issue where import would stop if a question had expired.
  • Fixed an issue where the NAT IP Address sensor would fail if the Tanium Client Port has been altered to end with zero.
