Initial Features
- Allows quick access to Tanium endpoints, enabling troubleshooting and real-time interactions
- Support for Tanium Performance, enabling the live streaming of performance metrics and events
Known Issues and Workarounds
- For Tanium Servers running on Windows, port 17475 must allow inbound TCP connections from clients
- Zone proxy is not currently supported
- Direct connect live connections will not survive a client reset
Requirements
- Tanium Platform 7.2 or later
- Minimum Client Version 7.2.314.3211 or later
- The releases of Tanium Trace 2.9.0.0035, Threat Response 1.2.0.0037, Map 1.1.1.0006, and Integrity Monitor 1.7.0.0035 and later all include a significant update to how the endpoint recorder technology is distributed and managed. You must update to at least the minimum versions above for Direct Connect to function properly.
