Tanium Deploy 2.20.131

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue that could cause Deploy deployments to reboot without notifying users when all user sessions were disconnected.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause user-created dashboards to be deleted.
  • Fixed an issue in which older versions of auto-imported software packages could not be deployed.

Known Issues

  • Software package deployments with a reboot and no post-notification will not rerun if the software package operation becomes applicable again. For best results, always include a post-notification on any deployment that includes a reboot.
  • Changes to software bundles will not affect existing deployments of those bundles. Any existing bundle deployments must be stopped and reissued to deliver the updated bundle. Edits to software packages and new Latest Applicable packages do affect existing bundle deployments.
  • In all versions of Deploy, configuring a Windows software package with a Restricted Operating System that uses a Workstation type (such as Windows 10 & 11 - All Versions) will cause that software package to be Not Applicable on Windows Enterprise for Virtual Desktops operating systems used for Microsoft Azure virtual desktops.

  • Added source URL to PackageFile objects to fix configuration synchronization failures.
  • Notifications now always respect Duration of Notification Period.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Deployment post-notifications to be automatically accepted after two minutes without the user clicking OK.
  • Fixed an issue that caused deployments to populate in both Active and Inactive tabs and to display end time as [Object Object].
  • Fixed an issue that caused the workbench to crash when selecting the checkbox next to a bundle.
