Enhancements
- New software bundle enhancement: Latest Applicable
- - When creating a bundle, the version for an included software package can be specified as “Latest Applicable”. This value will instruct the endpoint to automatically select the latest version of the software that is available in the catalog when the deployment runs.
- New software package applicability rule: System Uptime
- - Available in Requirements and Install Verification rules for software packages, System Uptime can be used to evaluate whether an endpoint has been running for more or less than the specified duration.
- The Deploy process is started and managed using Tanium Client Extensions, which requires AV exclusions for the following paths:
- - Windows: <Tanium Client>\TaniumCX.exe
- - macOS/Linux: <Tanium Client>/TaniumCX
- A new endpoint folder structure is added. Data and configuration are now stored in a sqlite database instead of in json files. Data and configuration are now located at:

Prerequisites
- Tanium End-User Notifications 1.6.5 or later.
- End-User Notifications and End-User Self Service are not currently supported on Linux or macOS.
Known Issues
The service account now requires the Content Administrator, Deploy Service Account, and End-User Notifications Read Only User roles, or the Tanium Administrator role. It will need to be updated unless it is already a Tanium Administrator.
