Tanium Console 3.7.8.0000

Enhancements

  • Added support for the new semiannual release process by introducing a workflow where all solutions are updated simultaneously. 
  • Added a banner to the Solutions page to indicate when a new maintenance release update is available.
  • Added a warning on the Solutions page to display unsatisfied dependencies between solutions. 
  • When you scroll the list of permissions on the role configuration page, the header row remains fixed at the top to ensure that the permission types are always visible.  
  • Added support for IPv6 addresses when creating an API token. 
  • Added the ability to associate an API token with a persona.  
  • Updated the side navigation menu to require a click to open the first level of menus for a more streamlined user experience. 
  • Added the ability to manage Tanium Core Platform SOAP certificates through Console. 
  • Improved the performance for uploading package files to the Tanium Server. 
  • Updated the Client Status page to show the Computer ID column by default in the results. 
  • Added the ability to transfer content such as sensors, packages, saved questions, and scheduled actions to active users and personas through the Administration > Users page in Tanium Console. This enhances the existing content transfer capability for deleted users. 
  • Added a note to clarify, when creating an API token, that the whole token, including the “token-” portion must be copied to be used for API queries or to rotate the token. 
  • Added support for the Guardian icon in the Console header for Feed. See the Tanium Resource Center article to learn more. Enhanced Emerging Issues Notifications via Tanium Guardian 
  • Renamed the Trusted Auth Origin platform setting to Trusted Auth Hosts and updated the wording of the tooltip to clarify valid input for this setting. 
  • Added a success message indicating when a license upload was successful. 
  • Updated the field hints and wording of the Bandwidth Throttles page to clarify the various fields.  

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent the Service Start Mode - Set to Disabled package from being successfully deployed. 
  • Fixed an issue where creating a user in Console failed when the user name had a backslash, such as domain\user1. 
  • Fixed an issue where the package status for a file that has not yet successfully downloaded, could show a loading spinner instead of an error.   
  • Fixed an issue where exporting a user group could fail if the user group referenced a deleted user.  
  • Fixed an issue where the numeric interval parameter setting might revert to the default value after a user changes the value during package deployment. 
  • Fixed an issue where exporting all sensors would fail.  
  • Fixed an issue where refreshing the grid on the Client Status page did not filter out endpoints that exceeded the last reported registration interval.  
  • Fixed an issue where the Computer Groups, Created By, and Modified By (Persona) columns were not sortable in the Action Groups page.
