These solutions should be upgraded to the required minimum version or removed prior to upgrade to Console 3.3. If the required minimum version is not present after the platform upgrade an error banner will be displayed for all users indicating which unsupported solutions are present. Users with access to Tanium Solutions will be directed to the Solutions page to either Upgrade or Remove the impacted solutions.
Enhancements
- This release includes changes to the header in order to support upcoming features and components on various screen sizes. Changes include:
- Displaying user name as an icon instead of text.
- Displaying help link as an icon instead of text.
- Hovering over the user icon reveals a dropdown menu to change persona.
- Applying a persona that is different than the default will show a colored ring around the username with the color corresponding to the persona.
- Hovering over a module under the Module menu opens submenus so users can navigate directly to pages than Overview.

- Upgraded various third-party libraries to newer versions.
- Added new columns to the Action Groups, Computer Groups, and Filter Groups pages to provide more details about who created or modified each group, and when. Modified By (Persona) and Last Modification Time are displayed by default and Created By and Creation Time columns can be selected in the dropdown.
- The Action History and Action Groups pages now display a Computer Groups column that indicates the number of assigned computer groups and whether they use Boolean AND or OR combination logic. Mouse hovering will display a tooltip that lists the computer group names.
- Updated the editing workflow for platform settings in the Advanced Settings tab.
- Added validation checking for IPv6 subnets to improve troubleshooting process.
- Improved validation checking for Intentional Subnet Site and CIDR fields.
- Disabled the LDAP “Sync Now” button on the non-active server in a HA pair to prevent errors.
Resolved Issues
- Fixed an issue where page was not being redirected with SAML authentication and pre-login banner configured.
- Fixed an issue where cloning a computer group with manually defined membership produced an error.
- Fixed an issue where attempting to preview Sensor Results without selecting a Content Set produced an error.
- Fixed an issue where copy and pasted format of quotes used in package command lines prevented the command from executing.
- Fixed an issue where the validation rule prevented saving of hostnames with underscores when creating a computer management group or filter group with manually defined membership.
- Fixed an issue where the Computer Groups column in the User Groups page was not showing the correct count of Computer Groups assigned to the User Group.
- Fixed an issue where the content set Description field was not editable.
- Fixed an issue where newly created content sets were not appearing in the Content Set drop-down of dashboards.
- Fixed an issue where Expiration Date was not displayed on the Tanium License page.
- Fixed an issue where the timestamp for last successful LDAP/AD sync was not shown.
