These solutions should be upgraded to the required minimum version or removed prior to upgrade to Console 3.2. If the required minimum version is not present after the platform upgrade an error banner will be displayed for all users indicating which unsupported solutions are present. Users with access to Tanium Solutions will be directed to the Solutions page to either Upgrade or Remove the impacted solutions.
Enhancements
- This release includes support for localization features, allowing the ability to:
- Set language in user preferences
- Select browser language as a preference default
- View Console in supported languages French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Latin American Spanish
- Change locales for the Console and see the Console UI reflect that new language immediately
- Support multiple Console users in difference locales
- View dates and numbers in regionally customary formats for the supported languages listed above
- Added warning against using reserved words when creating or editing a Sensor.
- Matched install timeout of Console Workbench to XML installer file for more consistent install experience.
- Increased maximum verification timeout to 30 minutes to allow for longer running packages.
- Clarified message displayed on Solutions page when a module is upgraded to a newer version than the current released version.
- The solution import error log page now displays additional information about certain errors to help with import troubleshooting.
Resolved Issues
- Updated pre-populated command line for creating a new package to reflect new security guidelines.
- Fixed an issue where newly created users could get multiple 403 errors in Console.
- Fixed an issue where filters created through filter builder were not being applied in the Scheduled Actions results grid.
- Fixed an issue where result type field in Sensor settings was not saved when creating or modifying a Sensor with multiple columns.
- Fixed an issue where some cloned packages could not be saved without entering a Verification Query timeout field.
- Fixed an issue where Content Sets Roles section was not displaying assigned custom roles.
- Fixed an issue where exported Question Text in Saved Questions did not include the full text.
- Fixed an issue where upgraded custom roles did not display correct icon and tooltip.
- Fixed an issue where incorrect error notification was displayed when trying to delete a Persona with content.
- Fixed an issue where using the filter builder on the API Tokens page did not apply the filter(s) correctly.
- Fixed an issue where certain dependencies were being upgraded along with the selected Modules/Services although the minimum required version was already installed.
- Fixed an issue where when editing permissions for all content sets were listed as applicable even though the permission didn’t apply to content sets.
