Tanium Console 1.4.3.0092

General Availability Release Date: June 16, 2020

Major Features

  • New Menu Header design
  • Workbenches will automatically install on the secondary Tanium Server in an Active/Active environment. Please read more about this feature here: Module synchronization in an HA deployment
  • Deleted user content can now be transferred to an administrator or any active user. Learn more about this improved feature here: Transfer ownership of deleted user content
  • New Role-Based Access Controls added for Configuration pages. More details about what these new privileges provide area available here: New Micro Admin Privileges

    • Read/Write Separated Subnets

Improvements

  • General UI improvements
  • Solution Import
    • Supported Solutions and Lab Content allow for currently imported version to be exported to URL for import into another environment
    • Recommend Solution Import and Configuration will create a new Action Group named Default - All Computers. Learn more about this improvement here: New Default Action Group
    • Interact will not import during initial login 
  • Actions
    • Action group selection is no longer required when deploying a one-time action.  The default target will be All Computers and execute only machines that were selected.  If action approval is enabled, action group selection is still required.     • Additional action parameters have been added to the Action Summary page
  • Added the capability to create and apply content sets to privileges on the create new module or advanced role page
  • Cache Info page has been renamed to Package File Repository page
  • Isolated and Separated Subnets allow for more than one entry to be added at a time


Bug Fixes

  • Multiple performance improvements 
  • Resolved multiple interface and UI issues
  • Resolved an issue where computer groups inherited from User Groups did not show on the View User page
  • Multiple Solution Import improvements and issues resolved
  • Multiple LDAP Sync UI issues resolved
  • Resolved an issue that prevented Content>Sensors from showing up when a non-english language was selected
  • Resolved an issue with the 30-day license expiration warning did not show
  • Resolved an issue in the UI that allowed the re-issue checkbox to be deselected on existing scheduled actions
