Enhancements
- This release includes a refreshed user experience, bringing more reporting, consistency, and configurability to the forefront.
- The ServiceNow destination is deprecated. Customers who need to create cases should use the Email destination instead. This is not related to the recent announcement of the Service Graph Connector, which is for populating a CMDB rather than creating cases.
- The Audit Log source is deprecated in favor of the new API-based Tanium Audit source. Existing Audit Log connections will continue to operate until Connect Version 5.15, and new connections must be made with the Tanium Audit source.
Resolved Issues
- Renamed the Tanium Detect event source to Tanium Threat Response.
- Fixed an issue where a 400 error occurred after clicking Create Connection from the Connect Home page.
- Fixed an issue where the Include headers check box was not displayed for all relevant formats.
- Fixed link from Connect Help page to the API documentation.
- Fixed an issue where Connect failed to load in Internet Explorer 11.
Known Issues
- While destination settings can be changed for all connections that use the destination, destination names are immutable.
- Connect now includes embedded Trends charts. These charts are updated when you update Connect. To see the latest Connect boards through Trends, make sure to re-import the initial gallery.
- Some audit data is collapsed in the Tanium Audit source. This is resolved in a pending release of Tanium Connect, but requires an update to Tanium Core Platform 7.4.4.1146 or later.
