Notable Changes
- Support for Microsoft 365 Outlook Email with Modern Authentication was added in Tanium Connect. Now you can send email exports using Microsoft Office 365.
- - Microsoft Graph Application configuration instructions can be found on Tanium's Community site.
- A new install dependency was added for Email Service
- A new Email configuration settings page for O365 Account profiles was added in the Connect workbench, as seen in the following image:

- Configure network allow list rules for the following Microsoft 365 URLs to enable access for Microsoft 365 mail resources:
- graph.microsoft.com:443
- login.microsoftonline.com:443
- outlook.office.com:443 if you assign the Mail.ReadWrite permission to the Azure AD application
- A new destination for Email (O365) was added to the Connection form.

Important
- For on-premises environments, if you want to upgrade to this version, for the best results:
- Upgrade to Connect 5.13.391 if your environment is below that version.
- Verify that your environment properly updated. Log in to the Tanium Console as a Platform Administrator, then navigate to the Connect Overview page. If the upgrade to Connect 5.13.391 had any problem, a banner appears. If the upgrade completed without issue, no banner appears.
