Tanium Comply 2.9.140.0000
Release Date: April 13, 2021
Important Notes
The release of Tanium Comply 2.9 starts to add new required dependencies to leverage the new Tanium Data Service. You must upgrade to Interact 2.6 in conjunction with this release of Comply. Please see the Tanium Comply User Guide for the detailed list of service dependencies.
Prerequisites

- Tanium Client Management 1.5 or later.

Supported Tanium Platforms
- Tanium Server 7.3.314.4250 or later.
- Tanium Server 7.4.1.1939 or later.
Enhancements
This release includes:
- Comply now provides an option for the user to configure their Windows endpoints to run Assessments in a Low Resource Mode. This option is intended for under-resourced or high-utilization endpoints. The Low Resource Mode allows the user to limit the CPU utilization of scans on their endpoints. Running assessments in this mode will extend the duration of scans and could potentially limit the amount of detailed endpoint triage data available for those endpoints in future releases. As such, we recommend limiting the Low Resource mode to only those endpoints where necessary.
Bug Fixes
This release includes:
- Fixed numerous issues surrounding JRE Encryption.
- Fixed issue with the Comply Patch Pivot so that the user is not prompted for their credentials when jumping to the Patch module.
- Updated Hygiene sensors so that they are no longer private.
- Fixed issue where Compliance scans were failing on Ubuntu.
