Tanium Client Management 1.5.134

Bug Fixes

  • (EC) Fixed an issue where the script files in the Endpoint Configuration - Manifest [<OS>] packages may become missing if the Endpoint Configuration service was interrupted while updating the package files.

Tanium Client Management 1.5.132

  • (EC) Fixed an issue where the Distribute Over Time setting was not adhering to configured values.

  • (EC) Fixed an issue with package caching when the Tanium Server used a custom port.
  • (EC) Fixed an issue where a failure message was not printed in the action log if updating manifest files was not successful.

  • Starting with this release, Client Management includes Endpoint Configuration, which provides a new framework that replaces the actions and packages formerly used to configure endpoint tooling.
  • Previous executions of a deployment can now be viewed in the UI.
  • SMB-based Windows-to-Windows deployments now use Powershell scripts.
  • The UI now displays additional information about the initial stages of deployments.
  • Execution of SMB-based TanOS-to-Windows deployments has been improved.
  • Nested air gap installer directory structures for multiple versions are now supported.
  • The support bundle download experience has been improved.
  • Download timeouts are now configurable for each file.
  • A distinct error message now appears during a deployment when the configured user does not have sudo permission.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with deployment from a Japanese-language Windows TMS.
  • Fixed an issue with support for custom Windows install directories.
  • You can now set Space Required to 0 in client settings to skip checking available disk space.
  • Client installers earlier than version 7.4 for AIX are now included in the manifest.
  • Fixed an issue where incorrect endpoint counts appeared during deployments.
  • Fixed an issue where deployment details pages did not update or showed incorrect information.
  • Fixed an issue with support for 32-bit windows deployments.
  • Modifying existing credentials is now allowed.
  • Server names with underscores are now allowed.
  • Fixed an issue with disk space checks on Solaris.
