Current Known Issues

Date: October 24th, 2023

  • New SBOM Tracked Libraries will now also include a partial GUID when added to Asset for Tracking
  • SBOM Menus in Asset will not appear if SBOM is not licensed or if not at a minimum version of SBOM 2.1.28 or higher.
  • Custom Attributes when deleted will remain in a status of Deleting.
  • Custom Attribute values when added cannot be removed or set to blank.

    • If Licensed for SBOM new Asset Menus will appear
    • Note: This requires the installation of SBOM 2.1.28+ else the SBOM menus will not appear.

  • When disabling an SIU Tracked Application the previously collected data will now be removed from the Asset DB
  • Profiles menu is hidden if not Licensed for SBOM

Issues Addressed

  • SQL Sources failing to import after adding Custom Sources
  • Fixed usability in Software Bill of Materials > Tracked Components and Libraries page
  • Purge by Reports not displaying when the user is in a Tanium User Group. With this fix as long as the Tanium User Group is not defined in Asset Permissions the user will now see Purge by Reports
  • Improved Asset Installed Application Version Normalization
  • Fixed issues with Exporting SIU Data from SIU Workbench
  • Fixed issue where Asset Loads fail, get marked as failed, but are still running in the background. Now Tanium Source jobs will not get marked as failed until the completion of the job
  • Fixed Asset DB issuse with Long Attribute Names that contain Non-English Charcters that caused Tanium Source imports to fail
  • Fixed forced Workbench Reloads when navigating to Asset Reports or Views
  • SBOM Profiles respect User’s Management Rights and Computer Groups for Index/SBOM Scans
  • Asset Tanium Source will no longer be marked as Failed while still running which created multiple Tanium Source runs simultaneously
  • SBOM 1.x Endpoint Data will no longer be removed upon upgrade until an SBOM 2.x Profile is defined and deployed
