Thank you for choosing Tanium. This document is intended to document changes between releases of Active Directory Query.

Please note that the AD Query content solution has been moved from the Tanium Lab manifest to the Tanium production manifests.

Active Directory Query 2.5.1

Release Date: April 9th, 2019

Security Update

  • This release includes security updates. Details of the issues, including affected versions and mitigation information, can be obtained within Tanium's Support Portal or by contacting your TAM.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in the Logged on User Details sensor where only one logged on user would be returned

Active Directory Query 2.5.0

Release Date: February 12th, 2019

New Features

  • Added the following sensors:
    • AD Query - Last Logged In User Date
    • AD Query - Last Logged In User Name
    • AD Query - Last Logged In User Time
  • Added the following saved questions:
    • AD Query - Last Logged In User Info

Updates

  • The Collect Active Directory Info package now has a process group flag setting of 1

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where use of trace level logging might result in a script crash on a system that generates a large amount of logging entries
  • Fixed an XPath issue with AD Query - User Attributes sensor

Known Issues and Workarounds

Some Tanium Platform versions might not properly update saved questions during content import. Users should delete existing AD Query saved questions prior to importing the Active Directory Query content
