Security Updates

Improvements

  • Added a TDownloader setting (MinFreeSpaceInMB, default 1024MB) that will stop an operation (logging error code 1008) if downloading a file will reduce the remaining free disk space below the configured threshold.
  • Tanium components now use SQLite v3.32.1.
  • Tanium components now use OpenSSL v1.0.2w.

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • After installing this update, there could be issues with some modules changing their service account definition from one non-admin user to another non-admin user, or from an admin user to a non-admin user. In order to workaround this issue, update the module to version that accommodates this change in the server, or use an account with admin privileges as the service account.
