Bug Fixes

  • The Tanium Client will now generate a ComputerID before it attempts its very first registration. This fixes a behavior where brand new installed clients with the wrong cryptographic materials would not appear in the System Status page in the console with Valid Key=No. They all should appear now when the page is set to view clients that have tried to connect in the last four hours or more.
  • Fixed an issue where processes launched by an Action could be left running during and after a Tanium Client reset.
  • Fixed an issue with the Tanium Client on MacOS by which the client failed to start logging the error Failed to verify signature on dynamic library: libcrypto.1.0.0.dylib.
  • Improved the robustness of the Tanium Client where if could fail to start up logging the message: Failed to verify signature on dynamic library.
  • Fixed an issue in the Tanium Client where it would fail to start up on .dll signature validations.
  • Fixed the Tanium Client installer for MacOS which was missing a title for the program being installed. This is a merely cosmetic improvement.
