Bug Fixes

  • Fixes a problem in the Tanium Client when parsing proxy PAC file configurations referenced by ProxyAutoConfigAddress and which contain more than one PROXY entry definition, resulting in the logged message "Failed to parse proxy name. Too many colons" at LogVerbosity=41 and failing to select a proxy to communicate with a Tanium Server.

Known Issues and Workarounds

  • This version includes the known limitation that the cache size can not be larger than 100MBs. This issue was resolved in Tanium Client version 7.6.1.6481. Tanium Recommends installing that version or higher.
  • On upgrade from v7.4 clients v7.6.1 client releases may display an incompatibility with older OpenSSL v1 dependent client extensions. Tanium strongly encourages installation and upgrades to the latest release of v7.6.2+ clients, starting with 7.6.2.1204.
